made me think of the experience of viewing the ‘northern lights’ or ‘aurora borealis’– as with many of Eliasson’s works, I felt that it connected me to some aspect of what it must be like to live in an extreme northern climate like that of Iceland

JETTE BRA!
-
i walked into this one today with two of my girlfriends and was immediately awed, of course. and we all gazed at it for a moment somewhat “starstruck”. but then my friend’s mood suddenly lifted, and she couldn’t stop herself from leaping through the the center of the exhibit while giggling. over and over again, leaping like a ballerina and giggling. clearly, this was a unique and joyous experience.

This made my friends look like ghosts.

boooooring!

I beheld it! and was so happy.

I really had a good time at the exhibit, and I wish my fiance could have stayed longer. She had to go across the way to the science convention town hall that night. She was able to experience the car, but didn’t have time to experience the rest of the show with me, except the ‘fan’ and the pantheon of modern art. I did though, and I really enjoyed myself, even though the bridge gave me a start. Bravo!!!!

felt refreshing as if showering outside with a rainbow.
-
it is fasinating.
you can see the rainbow on one side but not on the other.
interesting. -
As I try now to convey the depth of my experience, my breath stops short, I’m lost moving backward in time, in sheer mesmerizing joy, my own personal Planck Barrier. My only regret was that I’ll only be able to reexperince it in my dreams as I returned to Atlanta the next day…..

Nice use of colors. Ghoust like.

Well. Personally i think it just awsome. Ghoustly but unique

walking through the falling water from one side you see a rainbow, while walking back through towards the light you are blinded by the bright light. Love the interactive art! Visited museum twice… the second time was very crowded and a guard asked us not to walk through the waterfall because the floor was wet so my experience was suppressed the second time.
-
I loved this one – if you walk through it with the light behind you a big rainbow fills your vision and on the return trip through the water you are blinded by the light for a minute. My sisters and I enjoyed interating with this one…the second time I visited the museum was crowded and a guard told us not to walk through it because “the floor is wet” which was very irritating and my friend didnt get to experience what I had the first time.

this is the coolest ultra-grooviola instalation/interactive; I can’t wait to come to the city to walk amongst these pieces.
thank you -
I was simply amazed at the installation. Where did all that water go? The whole exhibit was impressive in that it took a lot of contruction and building…not like hanging up some pictures. This one was the most fun to play with.

“there was this little girl standing in the stream of water, utterly entranced, with everyone watching her. The light reflected off of her face and she was completely entranced in the experience. It seemed like a focal point for the entire exhibit. Then someone tried to take a picture, to extend the moment, and was stopped, and the magic shattered …”
